About Campbell Informatics

Our Mission

Our mission is to inject efficiency, agility and flexibility into the pharmaceutical quality system workflow, to remove error and uncertainty from the compliance process, and to eliminate the knowledge gaps that still persist between regulator and regulated within our industry.

Our Founder

Educated at University College Cork (B.E. 1975) and an experienced Pharmaceutical Engineer, Cliff Campbell founded Campbell Informatics in 1990 with a view to providing data-driven compliance services and technologies to pharmaceutical manufacturers on an international basis. Cliff has been an advocate of intrinsic quality and modular compliance for many years, promoting a back-to-basics approach to the itemization, characterization and verification of systems and processes across their lifecycles. He is a recognized driver of 21st Century Compliance, and was appointed consultant to FDA’s Office of Pharmaceutical Science in mid-2008, leading a successful 12-month assignment on Assessing Risks of Changing Sterile Drug Manufacturing Sites.

Our History

The company was established in 1990, and since our foundation we have witnessed and participated in a number of significant developments within the industry. Our arrival coincided with the initial drive towards urgent, risk-based compliance by manufacturers and regulators. This sat very well with our own experience as systems engineers, and working in collaboration with customers and partners on a wide range of projects, we developed a technical compliance offering aimed at fast-track plant and process lifecycles, enabled by high performance knowledge management techniques.

This combination of service and technology constitutes our core offering.
